About Me
I have been married a wonderful man for 4 years June 2009. We have been ttc for over 2 1/2 years now. After 5 failed months on Clomid, I finally went to an RE. We had 2 IUI's at the end of 2008, both failed. We were all prepared fro IVF in June, I was on the meds...then I got appendicitis, had surgery and the cycle was cancelled. So, now we're waiting for more vacation days in Jan and we'll try, try again! It's so frustrating, but I know the Lord is faithful and we will be parents!

Hi and how are things coming alone for you? I had my ET 06/22 and I'm schedule for my beta blood test 07/07. I very scared but I'm praying for a BFP. Take care and keep me informed.

Sorry to hear that. That is a bummer!! Well look on the bright side at least it happened before you started the stims, it would be worse if you were closer and it happened. I am scheduled for Egg retrieval on Wednesday.

My husband and I have been ttc almost 2 years. I took clomid for five months at the beginning of 2008. I had good Progesterone levels and no pregnancies. We had 2 IUI's in 2008, also, but they both failed. We are moving on to IVF this year.
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Not Working
- Two IUI's with BFN's.
- Clomid Not Working
- I was on Clomid with no other treatment for 5 months. Every month I had my progesterone level checked, every month my levels were good. I became frustrated with the meds when nothing happened and switched to an RE instead of an Ob Gyn. My major side effect was hot flashes.
- Follistim Working / Worked
- Took Bravelle with both IUI's. The more the doseage increased, the more bloated I became. The headaches were pretty bad, too. The Bravelle worked, I produced 5 follies the first cycles and 6 follies the 2nd cycle.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- Took this during the two IUI's also. Only side effect was soreness at injection site.
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Working / Worked
- I ovulate!
Close Trying To Conceive
My DH and I have been ttc since Dec 2006. I know that I want to be a mother, so I could not accept that I might never have kids. My gyn put me on Clomid for 5 months...that didn't work although my progesterone was good each month. We switched to an RE, SA came back with low motility. Right now I'm on injectibles awaiting our first IUI mid Oct.
Treatments
- Clomid Not Working
- Did not work I was on this for 5 months. I think it didnt work bc we are dealing with a male factor IF.
