      I'm so with you on how you feel. I too am new to this group and I dont want to talk with anyone I know so I figured just like you I would look here.       I have been steadily gaining weight since I was 17 and now weigh 250. My ultimate goal is to lose about 100 lbs, but for now I am just looking to get under 200. I have tried many weight loss programs but have trouble sticking to anything long term. I am determined to get healthy and happy, and I am ready for change!

      Atkins Diet Not Working
      Gross...made me sick
      Curves Somewhat Helpful
      Not enough intensity, but better than nothing
      Hoodia Not Working
      I wish I never tried it, my stomach has not been the same since. Didn't help w/ weight loss at all.
      Physical Exercise Working / Worked
      Works great and makes me feel a whole lot better, but I always seem to get off track after a few months
      South Beach Diet Working / Worked
      LOVE IT!!! Very effective
      Weight Watchers Working / Worked
      Works but you are constantly tracking points and planning meals

      Exercising feels like a chore to me. I need to find an active hobby that I can enjoy and do daily.

      Elliptical Trainer Working / Worked
      I like this because it is not hard on the joints but burns a lot of calories and makes me sweat.
      Kickboxing Working / Worked
      This is a fun class but I am not a big fan of going to the gym. I would rather work out at home or outside with friends.
      Pilates Working / Worked
      I enjoy this and it is supposed to be really good for you in the long term. Unfortunately I never stick with it long enough to find out :P
      Swimming Working / Worked
      This is fun and great exercise. Its even better when I am laying on a pool float with a drink in my hand :)
