I have TMJ . It has recently gotten worse. I have pain that goes up through my ears. I wear a mouth guard and hope it doesn't continue to get worse. I have arthritis in my hands that I thought was bad until my TMJ got worse. Now my hands seem like a walk in the park. But luckily the pain bad is not everyday!
Treatments
- Mouthguard Working / Worked
- I have been wearing a mouth guard for about 5 years. I am not sure how much it has helped but it is made of hard plastic and keeps my bite from changing.
Close Arthritis
I am 40 years old and have arthritis in my hands. My left hand is much worse than my right. I was told it is due to overuse. I am left handed so I tend to use that hand all the time. I have started to use my right hand as much as possible, I even write with that hand now. Writing with my left is unbearable. I wear an arthritis glove or some type of glove most of the time. I live in Massachusetts and the cold and humidity is very hard on my hands.

- Anti-Inflammatory Diet Working / Worked
- Trying to find a diet that works for me. I have many books on the subject and hope to find one that works for me.
