Lots of work to do yet. That field stone wall behind Casey my Shep my sons and I put in new, along with the white (primed) doors and windows. Still have to do a new roof and new siding on it, plus finish a new second floor. It's coming along, slow but sure!
i would love to do that myself. i know it is hard work (the h and i built our house, he did the electrical and i painted), but when it is finished, it is worth it! it would be neat to take an old beat up home and transform it. i remember there were days that i would be so tired of choosing carpet, light fixtures, on and on... i eventually got to the point where i told him, "i will only make one decision today, nothing more". to keep doing it, it would certainly have to be a labor of love....
how cool is that!
