I had my drs appt today. When I got into the office my blood pressure shot up. My mom's did too (her and my grandpop both have high blood pressure). So I am getting my blood pressure checked and its 140/100. I already knew it was high because I felt it. She was saying all of my stymptoms were from my thyroid and I need to see and endo (duh!!). I explained to her that I just started working and that it would take 6 months before I get insurance. I mean I can pay the $200 to see her, but there is no way I could afford to have my thyroid removed. So she ordered me to get more lab work and check my blood sugar. I got to see the foot dr today. She said its just because of the hard floor that my feet were hurting. She gave me some creame, pain medication and some insoles. I was happy to get them. I got my hrs cut at work. Not a lot, but still I work for 5hrs one day. Its crazy. Last summer I had an interview at Lane Bryant (my fave store!!) I went in there the other night and she said they were hiring and that she would look up my app. I thought about switching, but Walmart pays better and has a better chance of being around for awhile (though they did slash some corp jobs). It would be easier on me to work at Lane Bryant. All that heavy lifting and stuff is killing me. I think the hrs would be steady at Lane Bryant. Because Walmart is open 24hrs I work odd times. One day I work til Midnight and then have to be back at 10am the next day. I guess we will see.
I was thinking to when I was in middle school, I had a booklet on over-active thyroids and it had a checklist and I checked off most of them. I ran to my mom and told her thats what I had and she was like no you don't. About ten yrs later I did have it. So I think I had it for yrs and it got worse because everyone assumed my symptoms were because I was over-weight and the pressures of high school. I was right, which is odd.
I got to spend some time with Miguel. We held hands it was sweet. We went grocery shopping together, we love doing that. I can't believe my two days off are gone just like that. geez!!
