Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSLate last year(2007) I had this strange pinching sensation on the bridge of my nose that would come and go. Went to an ENT who said the nose problem was nothing to worry about. Went to an allergist who said it was not allergy related. Started to feel heaviness in my legs every day. Went to another ENT who sent me for and MRI. It showed spots consistant w/ MS. Then had spinal MRI and spinal tap which confirmed the diagnosis. It was a long process to find out was wrong. I'm now on the right path.
Treatments
- Copaxone Too Soon to Tell
- Been taking it since July 21, 2008. My main side effects are injection site reactions - redness, itchiness, small lumps, large swelling. They have all gone away within a week of the injection.
- Baclofen Somewhat Helpful
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- I have sharp pains in my legs in the middle of the night. After about 3 weeks, neurontin seems to be working.
