Got a letter from Dave...He is getting really worried, thinking that I abandoned him. Last I spoke to him was 9-28. The letters I sent to county jail were returned because he was transferred before they got them and I just got a letter saying he hasn't received any of the ones I sent to Pittsburgh...This is so frustrating because I love him to death and don't want him to think I gave up on him but I have no way of contacting him to let him know. Checked on the computer and he was transferred to Camp Hill yesterday. Now I have to wait for him to write again so that I can get all the new info. and hope he doesn't get moved again. Post Motion hearing is on the 28th of this month...Going to go to the courthouse...not sure if they will bring him in for it or do it over the monitor...Would be good if they bring him so that he sees me and knows that I am still supporting and fighting for him...I know I wouldn't be able to talk to him but just seeing him would be good. He was sentenced on 9-23 and I have not seen him since then. Not sure when he is even going to be allowed visits because he is still in classification..Hearing isn't until 2:00 that day so maybe they will keep him at county after and not take him back til the next day and it's a Tuesday which is visiting but not sure if I would be allowed to go....Just so dam frustrating, feel useless not being able to do anything..

Have you tried calling any of these places for information on sending letters? When I called for my guy, they gave me his number which was needed in order for the letters to go through. I have to write the Correctional Facility name, his name, his number and the address as well as a FULL return address on each letter I send. You might even want to get the prestamped envelopes in case that is a requirement. But, I'd start by calling to find out what the rules are. Is there information online about the whole process? I am frustrated now because my guy just got out of "classification" and is in a medium instead of a maximum, but I can't get a phone call until after I've been approved for teh visitors list which I couldn't even try to be on until he was at he medium. But, while he was at the maximum for "assessment", he could call me without being on teh list. CRAZY!
