I turn 55 on Memorail day.  I am 5 days post op and this surgery is the best gift I could give myself.  I know that if my weight continued to climb, i would of been diabetic because I was prediabetic and have a strong history of diabetes type 2.  I am hoping my sleep apnea will improve or go away.  I am sure my sciatica will improve.  My husband said he looks forward to seing me in a dress so I guess I am going to have to have him help me pick one out.  At times, I felt frustrated with all the hurdles I had to go through to get this surgery, but it is worth it.
