Thank you for your support and advice! I'll remind my husband about our vows, and how I took care of him after his motorcycle accident while I was pregnant. That will help put things into perspective. I think he's been stressed out about accident related problems, so mine on top of having a baby makes for a stressful life! But it's making our marriage stronger!

Hi Daisy!

Hi Susie,
I'm actually heading down to the Cape tomorrow for a day or two. A friend is renting house and I was at the Cape last week too. We've been having a really rainy summer, but hopefully all the rain will be gone by the time you come up. As I just posted on your discussion I'm really tired lately and not sure why but I'm trying to distract myself and keep myself busy! (like crazy day trips to the Cape!) Hope you have a great vacation! :)

Hi Daisy!
How are you feeling? I hope everything is going well and that you are feeling great! Thank you for your hugs and support!
Love,
Heather

Close Graves' Disease
Had post partum hyperthyroid after birth of 1st child in 2001 now after 6 years we have another child and my post partum hyper turns into Graves. I am currently taking Tapazole and Atenenol and like many have an Endo. that is pushing for RAI. I have come here for support from others in my situation and to discuss what treatments have worked for some and what treatments to avoid. As of August 2009 I an on a maintenance dose of 2.5Mg Methamazole a day. Doing really good.
Treatments
- Tapazole Working / Worked
- I had severe Graves T3 8.3 and T4 1982. After beiing pressured in to RAI but declining it 5 weeks later my numbers have improved T3 2.5, T4 792. Still high but the medicine is working
