Went through yellow jaundice and esophiagel varices. Sent to the ER. Blood work showed 144, 000 DNA replication rate, high ALT/AST, platlet count REALLY low, biopsy of the liver had scarring, and my ammonia level was high. My condition was so bad they thought I needed a liver transplant, until the Baraclude treatment started. My DNA replication rate stayed in the low 300 but it fluctuated.

Found out that I have Hep B in China. I then flew back to the US for treatment.
Treatments
- Baraclude Working / Worked
- Went from 416,000 DNA replication rate to 900-300 count. ALT was really high to just above normal. Then I stopped taking the Prilosec and Propanolol which was all for my varices. Then I went to undetectable and my ALTs are normal. I still have an enlarge spleen and scarred liver. But the drug work wonders.
- Milk Thistle Too Soon to Tell
- Taking this in the morning and the baraclude in the evening. Started to take it when they found a gallstone in me.

In the Navy and getting medically retired with 50% and placed on the TDRL.
