      Just had a physical and blood tests indicate elevated cholesterol and ldl levels. Have been on antidepressants for four years and recently went off of them. Just wondering if there is a link between the medication and my levels since I had never had abnormal blood tests before despite weight issues. I had recently heard that antidepressants such as effexor might lead to high readings for cholesterol. My mother is taking effexor and has also reported high levels. Any connection??? Hmmm...
