Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSI have MS, but it doesn't have me. Since diagnosis I've done a great deal--tae kwon do, gone back to work, picked up new hobbies. I continually tell my MS to "shove it."
Treatments
- Avonex Working / Worked
- took it for a year, couldn't do the injections myself
- Betaseron Working / Worked
- Great med but left me with dozens of bruises all over my arms, legs, stomach and rear. ick.
- Solumedrol Working / Worked
- You don't know excitement until you take an IV drip to work with you!
Close Optic Atrophy
I was stricken with retrobulbar optic neuritisin my right eye in 1992, which never completely healed. I now have optic atrophy in that eye and I am partially blind in it (no central vision).
