Close Scoliosis
I was diagnoised at 13 in a school screening. My parents then took me to see an ortho. For the next 2 years I wore 2 different braces, no improvement. I then went about a normal teenagers life ignoring the fact that I had scoliosis. It wasn't until I turned 38 that I really had any major issues with pain. If your a parent of a child with scoliosis don't let it go untreated.
Treatments
- Brace Not Working
- Bracing didn't help at all. It only rubbed all my skin off where the inner pads were.
Close Back Pain
I was diagnosed with scoliosis at 13. October 10th, 2008 I had surgery to correct the curves and support my spine.

- Bedrest Somewhat Helpful
- Cortisone (Injection) Somewhat Helpful
- Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
- Physical Therapy Considering
- TENS Not Working
