I live in Harrow, England UK. I have a wonderful man who i live with. He has 4 kids from a previous marriage who are great kids. I am going back to college to study Illustration. I am recovering from Bulimia and have depression. I am a survivor of sexual abuse and rape. I also have EDS 3 /HMS

Interests
I love fine art, illustration- post modern and contemporary. I like lots of different music especially rock ballards. I have a cat called Snuggles and just got a kitten called Sparky. Love Malcom in the middle, law n order, House and my favorite movies r Sleepless in Seatle, the butterfly effect and Minority report - actually anything with Tom cruise in it! yum!

Close Hypermobile Syndrome
Got diagnosed with HMS/EDS 3 on thursday 4th Sept. Just trying to get my head around it!
Close Eating Disorders
Type: BulimiaI have had eating disorders since I was about 7 - 8. got diagnosed with Bulimia when I was 30 and was admitted to a Priory hospital in north London. Now not purging, hardly ever binge and feel in control. slip up sometimes and loose battles. Currently 7 stone (yes you heard me!!!) overweight. Trying still to normalise my eating. Odd.
Treatments
- Dietitian Consult Somewhat Helpful
- Humm....she told me i needed more magnisium cos bodys need this to respond to stress which would help me not to eat wen stressed.
- Group Therapy Working / Worked
- really helped me knowing i was not the only one is pain.
- Outpatient Treatment Program Working / Worked
- Did this treatment after being an inpatient for 4 weekd or so.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Yep 1-1 therapy was very good. i slowly weaned myself off over 1 year. on my tod now.
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- if you dont want to have a sex life take this tablet! However it made me much more relaxed and less suicidal! Im still here
Open Food Allergies
Type of allergy: Other Foodsintolerant to egg, wheat, gluten, dairy, sunflower oil + seeds, pork and soya.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- used to get migraines a lot from the egg...i totally avoid this now and rarely get sick.
Open Depression
Have had depression for ever!!!!.....or so it seems!
Open Degenerative Disc Disease
got diagnosed with this 3 years ago. Last injection was 9 months ago and I am still doing ....well OK!
Open Rape
SA when I was 13 and raped at 15 several times. currently the abuser is awaiting trial. I hope he pleads guilty or else i will have to face him in court!!

got pain in the middle of my back. I have to lay down after ironing 4 shirts!!

- Facet Joint Injection Working / Worked
- first injection worked for 6 months. Next lasted 1 week and this last one has lasted 9 months already!!!

got to the age of 18 and handed in an essay at college and the teacher said I was dyslexic and need to have a test....she was right! I am having to update my report cos im going back to Uni soon.

Have got 4 step kids and three of them have this syndrome.....needing advice! just got diagnosed with this myself!
