Close Dementia

My mom has dementia and my husband and I recently moved her to our city in another state. My dad refuses to come here -- he has advanced cancer, can barely hear and see, and is in assisted living. My brother looks after him. My mom spends a lot of time with my family here and lives in a very nice board and care facility -- but she is confused and sad, is unable to focus, and has pretty significant memory loss.
