This morning I weighed in at 149. I only have 9 more pounds to go in the next 90 days. I can do it!
I watched Dietribe, a new show on Lifetime following 5 women who are the support for each other on their collective journey to lose weight and get in better shape. They spend an hour exercising 5 days a week. They have changed their diets and are following calorie restrictions and such. They're eliminating the french fries and the huge portions. My only wish is that I had some friends to support me in my life right here, in my home, helping me find more motivation to exercise.
I am at least doing better with my diet. My beau and I keep buying stuff to make salads for dinner, I made a menu for the next 3 weeks, I'm trying so hard to stay on top of things.
Today I ate a bowl of cheerios, a handful of fresh blackberries, and a handful of peanuts just after 11:30. I plan to have a salad for lunch. Tonight we're having TACOS! And more salad.
I'm amazed that I am already within 10 pounds of my goal!
I just need to make exercise a real priority and I don't know how to do it.
