I'm terrible at keeping things organized, de-cluttered, properly stored... I am a mess all the time and so is my living space no matter what. I hate this about myself and do not want it to wreck anything for me. I've been reading up a lot about creative ways to store things and whatnot... and from thenest.com I found the most amazing tool ever... I have discovered FLYlady.net as my inspiration, motivation, guidance, tool, teacher... I can truly go on and on. I signed up for the emails as well as keep reading their tips and such...
It's time I dedicate everything to getting into the right habits and teaching myself how to de-clutter everything and stay that way for life. The FLYlady way is a lifestyle I want to be living. I am sick of wanting and not doing. It's time I change that. By starting a new DS goal to keep track of my progress, I hope to maintain my focus, energy, and make sure these steps are something I complete on a daily basis.
I also need to make a habit of a TaDa list of accomplishments... So far TODAY, I...
woke up (without the alarm!)
showered, dressed
did my makeup
fed the cats
swish and swiped my bathroom
started a load of laundry
placed notecards at all of my HOTSPOTS
brainstormed my routines
created this DS goal
I feel pretty darn good. I have accomplished a lot for only being awake a couple of hours. I hope I can stay on a roll today and finish the tasks I've started...!
On one last note here... This is a time-specific goal. I need to make sure I stick with these things DAILY for the next 28 days (I've been doing them here and there for a few days already so hopefully this head start will help me out a bit too). Yay new good habit!
