I read some of your journals and I am just so sorry for what your going through. I actually broke down in tears. Close Migraine Headaches
My husband has had a daily, debilitaing headache for 5 years but he has an aneurysm and carotid dissection. Nothing "works" for him, pain med's make it tolerable.
Close Chronic Pain
My husband has had 3 back surgeries, the last one included >25 grand in titanium
Treatments
- Heat Not Working
- no relief
- Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
- Be careful about the pain med's. They are closely watched
- Nerve Blocks Not Working
- His nerve block did not bring relief
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- helped with the nerve pain in his legs for awhile
- Oxycodone Somewhat Helpful

- Cymbalta Somewhat Helpful
- His mood was a lot better, not as destitute. No longer have it because we lost our insurance
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- I continuously remind myself to do this...it works most of the time.
- Psychotherapy Considering
- When and if we can afford it (without insurance I guess) we will try this
- Seroquel Somewhat Helpful
- Helped him sleep through the night..now, not so much. Lost it when we lost our insurance.
Open Anger Management
We were wrongfully accused, arrested and lost everything (house, health insurance, jobs...) My husbands health is deteriorating and I try not to lose my temper because he is already on th edge.

We both lost our jobs because we were wrongfully accused of a crime. We lost our house paying atty's, and COBRA and now we have lost that too (health insurance). We were abandoned by friends and family over the issue and have essentially lost everything. When they find the vehicle, it will go too.

- This was helpful in 2004 when we did it. My husband's health severely deteriorated (aneurysm and carotid dissection) and he couldn't work so we fell behind. Now, we have lost our jobs, house, health insurance and have bad credit.
- Holding a Garage Sale Somewhat Helpful
- I got rid of some stuff this way when we sold our house. We couldn't take it all to an apartment, now in my mom's basement
Open Aneurysms
My husband Mike has a 4-5 mm aneurysm at the base of his skull on the back right. Inoperable b/c on the front left his carotid artery is comletely blocked/shut down. Daily, debilitating headaches for >5 yrs

Open Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Severe abdominal pain. Constant diarreah then a week later constipation. I fit the criteria for having IBS and want to try anything that works

- current diarreah medicine, try the advanced for gas too
- Lomotil Working / Worked
- when I had insurance lomotil was the BEST medicine to stop diarreah
- Probiotics Somewhat Helpful
- Helps relieve my constipation (activia) but haven't eaten it two days in a row b/c it gives me diarreah
