Retired from the travel industry after 20 years & owned several agencies during the last 15 years. Grandmother of 5 and 2 loving daughters. Have had some health issues that keep me side-lined when I have flares. FMS & ADHD are chronic. But I am a survivor of breast cancer. I volunteer & have for 6 years at a wonderful hospital in Portland in their coronary care unit. My passions are my pugs, reading, helping people and my husband. (But not necessarily in the order:)!

STARTED IN HIGH SCHOOL WHEN IT WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO CONCENTRATE & COLLEGE WAS A DISASTER. YET, I OWNED MY OWN BUSINESS (TRAVEL AGENCY) & WAS MAKING A PROFIT IN SIX MONTHS. WHICH IS NOT THE NORM. I FEEL CONFLICTED AND SOMETIMES QUITE STUPID THAT I CAN'T REMEMBER A BOOK I JUST READ OR A MOVIE THAT I JUST SAW. AND NEEDLESS TO SAY, I CAN GET DEPRESSED FAIRLY FREQUENTLY!
Diagnosed in 1995 & it truly has changed my life in so many ways. I try to be in denial. & push through life. I volunteer at a hospital and do water aerobics & walking. But, I honestly want many times to crawl in to my bed & pull up the covers an escape EVERYTHING. I am SO GOOD at making my feelings (fatigue & pain) & I try to keep my personal appearance so id I told anyone how I reallly felt they wouldn't believe me. To have others think you are sick, you must look sick!!!
