well the weathers been so stunning here in lil ol new zealand summer has its fun and fresh and happy stuff. I brought a set of weights to set about toning my leg see how it goes. I never kept a diary much so this is all kind of hard. Guess i get confused cos its almost a year with a bk and i sought of hoped i would be able to achieve more by now i just keep being told give it more time Ive waited 17 years for the opportunity to walk again but i always hoped i could go back to kitchen work because before my injury thats the only trade i know not having money cos i live on a benefit and also no licence now thru poor eyesight see the doc next weekhes still deciding on a revision, off to wellington for checkup for limb in march and i get to stay the night and as its my birthday on the 10th march the week after im treating myself a show and dinner sadly its alone my cat rolly cant come with me lol and my son and fiance are having a baby so that makes me old and only at 43 but its so exciting get clucky looking at baby clothes. one of my hardest things is its too hard staying at non wheelchair accesible houses for shower and bathroom reasons i have done it but to be honest at times its not worth the hassle and its easier to just stay home than force the leg further. on the whole even tho ssdd happens everyday i am so stoked to have my leg amputated cos at least i get the chance to walk 0n 2 feet and wear two shoes the same. I know getting a limb to adapt will take a lot of visits to my prothetist but without the support bandage on 24/7 the swelling and floppiness are a concern to all better go its teatime almost
