I appreciate that Janice :) Y'know, for all my faults and issues, I think I did a pretty good job with my son. He's confident, assertive, happy, stands up for himself and has a lot of friends - qualities I lacked at his age. I've walked a tough road and passed the lessons I learned on to my son, and I'd do it again 1000 times.

hey Im janice frost i live in wanganui new zealand have had rsds since 1992 chose to have bka in feb this year so only a baby at this am divorced, love my cat and my boys 22 ans 20 am hopeful my gait pattern will start cooperating after not using leg properly for 16 years. Ilove cooking, watching dvds and playing wheelchair tennis, no job at present will post photo of me and cat when i work out how. cheers nice to meet you all

- have fizio once a week its a work in progress
- Prosthetic Device Working / Worked
- amazed and shellshocked to be able to have two shoes on and a leg that moved. Overdoing it and tiredness seem to be my enemies.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- have been on lyrica for 4 months now only 75 mg supposed to be upping it to two it is for neuropathic pain and spasms two i find i sleep heaps ones controllable as for the weight gain i take a fluid tablet as well cost will be the decider i like it.

hey im janice i sprained my ankle in 1992 diagnosed rsds 12 months later so im not a newbie only here having hope and someone to believe in you goes a long way . my pain was in my ankle and friends have been my saviour cheers all janice

- used to be on gabopentin but after sometime was introduced to lyrica i find my body seems to be sensitive to doseage changes and weight gain and swelling caused me to ask for fluid tabs. general disorientation and cost i take anti depressant tabs already as well as the cost make me scared to up the amount but for now its necessary.

i dont have arthritis my mum does along with polymyalgia and now diabetes i have rsd and am an an amputee am interested in any progress or lack of people are facing
