Wife, Mother of 2 2yr old boy and 1 yr old girl, Homemaker. Diagnosed with fibromyalgia in Feb.08 with sudden onset of twitching, muscle spasms, and intense arm, shoulder, and neck pain. Which has moved through my entire joint system spine, neck, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles and wrists. My hands are swollen every morning and sometimes I struggle to pick up my baby first thing in the morning. I push through the pain for my kids, hubby, and myself so I can stay mentally sane. I miss my old body. Am tired alot and these migraines...I really need a new head. I don't have any friends and am hoping to befriend and support others whom know how hard we have it.

Interests
Taking care of kids, playing, gardening, sitting at the beach, scrapbboking and animals. I was a veterinary nurse for 10 years. I also love outdoors. Camping, and hiking. Also just kickin' back at home with my husband and kids laughing and doing nothing is precious.

Close Fibromyalgia
I was diagnosed with Fibro in Feb 08 after the birth of my daughter. I have severe pain in my neck, shoulders, spine, knees and legs, ankles, wrists and hands. I also suffer with migraines. I was devastated and in denial at first I thought the dr. was just putting a name to satisfy me but the more research I do and the more I realize the truth. I have fibromyalgia!! I have so much pain it is hard to deal with it chronically. I am only 34 and have hope for my future but I need help now.
Treatments
- Ultram Somewhat Helpful
- Takes the edge off so I can at least get up and do. Would hate to think how bad the pain would be without it.
