Hi. I am a 34 yr old female with two children (1 is a teenager.Yikes). A husband that drives me up a tree, sometimes. I have been threw two brain surgeries, chemo and radiation. I know that I was border line bipolar before, however the surgeries/everything else aggrevatived the bipolar and brought it out in a vengance.

Close Brain / CNS Tumors
Type: OligodendrogliomaI am a survior of a oligodendraglioma,right parital, grade 2-3. Diagnosed in 2002,I had my first surgery in 02 with a 75-80% resection. My Dr. and I decided to wait to see if that would be enough. Nope. We did almost 2 years of Temodar.Did nothing 4 it. Back to surgery we go. Dr. said if I had another surgery I would be paralyzed. Found new Dr.(my god as I call him) looked at scans and said I can take that out.
Treatments
- Radiotherapy Working / Worked
- Was scary at first. Loved the fact that I could listen to music(pick Relaxation ones). Didnt like having to lose hair, very sad moment/s. Itchy scalp at times. O
- Surgery, Brain Working / Worked
- 1st surgery 75%-80% resection. 2nd surgery 95-99% resection. However, had and still have sometimes right side neglect.
- Temodar Working / Worked
- Made me sick the week following taken it. Still hate taking pills.
