Paul is better and is going to work today. He still has some pain, but is much more active and feels pretty good
We won two battles wth Kylie but lost one. First and foremost, blood flow is great through the heart. If the baffle is still leaking, it's not a biggie. Kylie is doing more things daily. She is an incredibly active little bean. She gives huggles (think a cross between a hug and a snuggle) and kissles (simlar to a huggle but with her mouth open, usually on your face! A mite messy but what the heck) She loves Zerberts ( blowing a raspberry on neck, behind ear or belly) remember the Bll Cosby show? I had her dancing on the table at the restaurant last night, doing the Stowers boogie baby dance (there's no way to describe that one, it is cute and traditional).
Kylie's food aversion is pretty well over with, but we just can't get enough calories into her to keep up with her basic metabolic needs and growth too. So...whe will have a surgery to place a G tube in the next month or so. This really is OK...We all did everything we could, Kylie will eat anything, and the g tube will be in for a year or so, until after the last surgery. Also she will go to a pediatric eye doctor to see what we can do about that lagging right eye. That is the only visible signs that she ever had the stroke that the doctors say took out 25% of her brain. Wow, and I thought the girl was miraculous last winter!
Christian is in the hospital right now. I can't go into details here, just keep him in your prayers.
I hope to post more Kylie pictures soon, I have a couple of great ones from Beth's birthday party last night. Kylie thought she was getting ice cream... but it was sour cream instead.
Today is actually Beth's birthday but since 9-11-01, we haven't celebrated it on the day. So, we usually do it the day before or after. Please take a moment to remember all of the innocent lives so cruelly ended far too soon on this anniversary
Love and blessings, Diane
