Quick update Mood
Thursday, June 25, 2009 | A General Update story

All of our heart kids are doing really well right now. Ethin is spiking some temps  off and on but otherwise doing good. Jessica went to a baseball game and there is a player named Brandon Ingewho does a lot of really good things for the kids up at Motts. Tommy who is waiting for a transplant is a big fan, and Brandon visited him and played with Tommy's autograph on his arm. Jess caught a foul ball and gave it to Tommy this morning. I thought that was so cool.  Brandon dedicated his home run to Tommy. That is the upside of all this medical craziness, the people that you meet, the people that truly care. If I would have known that my time in the PICU would open up all of this for me... Well, I can't say I would have enjoyed it more, but maybe I would have accepted it better.

Made a house call on Kylie this morning, She's just hot and cranky, not sick but I got a chance to listen to her heart. This is only the third time I have listened to it. The first two times there were big booming "Machinery" Murmurs. Now, I hear a split and a very soft murmur, it is amazing how normal her heart sounds now. Wow....

Love and blessings Diane
