Having a nice, quiet peaceful week. Yippee. Coming the sixteenth of June, things will heat up again on the Oralndo/Missy/Christian front. But for right now, it is just enjoying the beautiful NW ohio spring weather.
It was great at church Sunday. Missy and Christian have taken to coming to church with the rest of us. I never thought much about this but a lot of medical equpment on a baby makes others really anxious and they stare, which makes the parents feel like they are in a freak show. So, at Hope in Christ, Pburg, we are used to kids with hardware. So... we are all in a row, Aubrey, Ron and Kylie, Beth, me, Missy and Christian and we are all singing and suddenly there is a new voice singing praises. "OOOhhhh, Ahhhh, Ohhhhh" Different notes and really loud.... And it was Kylie. Then Christian started in with "Maa, Baaa,Maaa Deee" an then the people around us are looking at the kids and smiling. It was so cool. Considering that Christian shouldn't be able to talk at all with the trach... it was so cool.
It looks like we have the oral aversion thing sorted out by using a special nipple with a control that is used for kids with a cleft lip. Kylie is now bottle feeding!!! After the 17th of June, she should be off Oxygen!!! Yes.
Ethin is slowly recuperating, may be out of Motts by July. What a long haul for his mom, brother and sister.
Ally is back on the transplant list for another heart. She refused to die, so they are looking for another heart.
Jess is asking for prayers for Tommy, who is undergoing a heart transplant.
So many kids that need our prayers. Please keep praying. Love and blessings, Diane
