Ethin is doing really well. He is off of CPAP, on High flow O2, alert and smiling!!. Jess, his mom is all grins too. This is really wonderful, another miracle. I am so happy.

I am also very sad. Less than two weeks after his court date, his plea bargain to misdemeanor domestic violence, menacing and causing panic, Orlando is at it again. Crap! Anyrate...Last night wasn't as wild as the great SWAT team/hostage drama of 6 weeks ago, he is harassing Missy, threatening, and generally making an ass out of himself. I'm scared because he is angry, volatile and manipulative and Christian is in danger. The rest of the nurses on Christian's team are nurses, I'm his third "grandma". After being escorted in by the cop with the shotgun, the lady  cop that was working with Missy that horrible night said "Come on in, Grammy". I feel that God has put me in this situation for a purpose and I just hope I have the courage and wisdom to see it through. I'm going downtown tomorrow as a support person with Missy to the Prosecutor's office to get a permanent restraining order on Orlando... I don't like it, Missy doesn't like it, but Orlando's nuts. Christian is thirteen months old, ventilator dependent and totally defenseless. Though we have managed him well at home and in a few years I do believe he will be fine, this could change rapidly. If Orlando snatched this kid...Orlando doesn't even know how to fasten him in his carseat!!! ARGH!!!! Please pray on this situation. I was up talking to Missy until 4:00AM and Orlando continued to make threatening phone calls and texts throughout the night. Please pray.

Also pray for Allie, she is a fourteen year old with a failed heart transplant. Against all odds, she is hanging in and there is a fund raiser coming up on May 30.

Brittney, the 10 year old heart transplant patient that gave her presents to the other kids last winter is doing great! Thank God.

I had a wonderful lunch with Kylie. Went over to Ron and Aubrey's after church, got a chance to talk to Leo. He is home until next Monday, when he leaves to go back to Camp LeJeune in North Carolina. It is so funny-He wasn't scared all those months in Iraq, but he is scared to hold Kylie!

Any rate, Kylie and I had a great time together. I taught her how to growl. I'd growl at her, she'd growl at me and then laugh her head off! Then my thumb was her teething ring for a while and we compared hands. Wow, what a charmer.

I'm going to get another tattoo. OK, I know, I'm too old to be getting tattoos right. Well, I'm going to get a rising rainbow star with Kylie's name on it. She is a star, she is definitely colorful, and I know that I will be proud to wear her name for the rest of my life. Now Aubrey's step mom...The one that had Property of Alvin Adams (Al, Aubrey's dad) then divorced him and remarried within a year of getting that stupid tattoo...That was unwise :p Oh yea, and did I mention that the tattoo was on her butt...

I want to hang out on ds a little longer and around six I know I'm gonna crash. Been up almost 24 hours, time to sleep. Night night, Love and blessings, Diane
