hi sorry for your pain. it is awful!! i am on 4th month and struggling still. but i had ramseys hunt syndrome, which is like bells and shingles at same time and worse but that is another story.... i was put on steroirds, valtrex, percocets and lots of anti imflammatorys. i was on antconvulsant drugs for another condition which helped with pain too. now i also take a natural melt under your tongue vitamin b 12 tablet called methyl cobalamin you can find it at your local health food stores or on line. also stress b complex might help too. but ALWAYS consult your doctor first. some people take so much of this natual vitamin stuff they damage their livers. blessings for a speedy recovery and get a lot of rest. laying down helps with my pain a lot. jady

You have my support Henry. So sorry you waited so long to go to a doctor because if it is Shingles it has gotten a big foothold into spreading and getting worse. Hopefully it won't be Shingles but something else that can be treated quickly. You are in my prayers, take care and feel better!
