I am 24 years old, i was diagnosed with PCOS last year. I am recently married about 4 months now. I have very high insulin and high male testosterone hormone. I dont get my periods regularly at all about every 5-6 months at a time. I went to a fourth Gyne on Friday and he confirmed once again that i have PCOS and that he is goign to be putting me on Metformin once again, i stoped taking it for a while last year, it was making me terribly sick but this year i am going to stick to a new diet and stick to Metformin, myself and my husband we really would like a baby by 2010 so hopefully i can be pregnant by may next year. Its really hard for me to lose weight but i have been on a no carb diet for about 4 days now and it seems to be going good. But i do crave carbs especially bread. But am sticking to my routine. I have the most supportive husband ever i couldnt have asked for a better person to help me go through this.
I miscarried last month. I didnt even know i was pregnant we were trying though. I was going to take a test a couple of days. I felt naseous all the time i went off certain foods completely. I was sick morning and evening. I could feel my body was different. I knew inside i was. I bled for about 8 days 3 weeks before my period so i knew something was wrong. I called my gyne and explained my symptoms and he agreed it was a miscarriage but becuase it was still in the early stages.
We have been TTC for about 2 months now i have been diagnosed with PCOS last year already went off birth control and nothing as yet. Jsut really depressing most of my friends have children without any issues and yet we are trying really hard i hope we do fall pregnnat soon i dotn watn to wait so long to have a baby.
Husband and i have been trying to have a baby have been put on Clomid and given Glucophage for IR. Will see on friday if my follicles have grown a bit more to induce ovulation.
