hey everybody just wanted to update everyone i am out of the hospital after a month stay i had a real bad flare up so they decided to do surgery so i had a illectomy (spelling ?) they removed 16 cm of my intestines and then i had another surgery to get a broviac placed but luckily i got out of coming home with it and tpn nutrition because i had absolutely no appetite it was totally gone i started to wonder if i would ever get it back but of course i did after all this im home feeling great an slowly starting my normal life back hopefully i will have no interuptions from crohns. go for my follow up in two weeks and then back nov 5 then nov 28 uhhh i hate that ride up their well thats my update hope everyone else is doing great and will talk to yall soon love kayla

what i learned through all this is one life is not easy you have to do alot of jumps and obstacles but when you get through it is great
the other thing is i think this whole month in the hospital has made me stronger and more experienced to be the wonderful nurse i want to grow up to be and help people just like i was helped
more exiting news is my town is starting a explorer program that means if you want you can ride on the ambulance and observe i love to do stuff like that im all about doing everything to help people if possible you have to take a cpr class and one more i forgot what that was my dads girlfriend is a emt/paramedic so that how i got the link i also want my cna by the time im 18 so im doing all the classes i can before hand to get it

I have been thinking about you, wondering how you were doing. I'm sorry you had to have surgery, but I think you will be amazed how much better you will feel in a couple of more weeks. Thanks for the update and please keep us up to date on how great you are feeling!!!

I am so happy to hear that you are out of the hospital and feeling better already! That Explorer program sounds like a really great deal! You will get so much experience doing that! It sounds like you have a great plan and a really good attitude! I love hearing from you - keep in touch!

Kayla, I thank God & could not think of a better way to start a day to here you are home & feeling so much better. There is no doubt there is power in prayer & I will let my church know the wonderful news. You have been on my prayer list for months & requested you be put on our church's prayer list 3 weeks ago. I know from personel experiance how difficult surgery can be.
I believe I have learned something from you,I have been so concerned about you & all that your young body has had to go thru instead of thinking that it could be a positive thing because you are young & not all worn out. It always amazes me what God can do when we have faith & let him answers our prayers in his time not ours.
I am so proud of you & happy you have a good role model in your Dad's girlfriend. I know you have a good head & heart. I think you can & will use this experiance to do wonders.
Please keep me up to date & remember I will always be here for you. I love you & pray you have a wonderful day. You have made my day.

I am so glad you are finally out of hospital!! Make sure you stay well! Don;t want to hear that you are back in there anytime soon!
