i've started an exercise program under the supervision of my physio - she comes in twice a week to check how i'm doing - and i'm feeling so much better for it.  it hurts like mad when i'm doing the stretches but i can now move so much better for them and the balance and muscle building exercises are definately developing my stability and strength.  i hope to be driving, swimming and riding soon and then life will really take off!  i can't wait to go shopping with out an escort!

 

i've also had my drugs reduced so everything is going just the way i want - about time, eh?

 

tomorrow is the first meeting of the garden project.  this is starting up for two reasons, onet o get the local community involved with each other more (we did other stuff over christmas which worked well) and two to reclaim land which is presently used for flytipping.  the land belongs to highways and they do nothing about the dumping so we are. we are going to plant vegetables and fruit shrubs and trees, put in some seats and get everyone sharing and growing together.  i'll let you know how we get on - it's illegal (possibly) and maybe no-one will come but it will be fun whether there are two of us or twenty. two or twenty we shall still do it.

    You will enjoy the swimming bit but be careful getting out of the pool.You dont realise how HEAVY your legs are till you do this.Im so glad you are progressing and that light at the end of the tunnel is getting nearer.I have just been to see the dentist tiday to get the teath i had made a year ago and never had in my mouth sorted out.They feel fine so i will give them a go.xx
