Hi and hope u are feeling better. Husband recently DX w/non-hodgkins lymphoma but that is all we know at present. Soon to know more info. He has been itching, and having back pain and now shooting pains in ankle and foot. Do u know if this is common w/this condition? Thanks and hope we can keep in touch.

Close Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Type: Lymphocytic PredominanceI've just had my second relapse of lymphocyte predominant HD. Have just finished 6 cycles of R-ABVD.
Treatments
- ABVD Not Working
- Put HD in remission, but appear to have relapsed after only four months. Found it really difficult to tolerate. Also caused me breathing problems, which have since been diagnosed as pulmonary fibrosis, i.e irreversible lung scarring, which has continued progressing.
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- Previously had ClVPP. It worked at the time, but I relapsed after 10 years.
- Radiotherapy Not Working
- Started off with stage 1A in the neck. Had 4 weeks of radio and lump disappeared and never came back. Unfortunately it then sprung up in my abdomen.
Close Pulmonary Fibrosis
I developed breathlessness during chemotherapy for relapsed hodgkins disease. Two months after treatment, high resolution CT scan shows fibrosis at the top of both lungs. PFT at 60%.
Open Non-hodgkin's Lymphoma
I have now had lymphocyte predominant hodgkins lymphoma three times. Although orginally classed as HD, this particular form is now considered to be a type of NHL. I have just finished R-ABVD as salvage therapy, which has put it into remission again, but left me with fibrosis in both lungs.
