  Thanks for the kind words, Cemetery. It gets better day-by-day, and the real work is coming out to myself. Since i'm single and not even dating anyone right now, I can forestall saying anything to my family until it becomes necessary. And, hey, who knows? The next love of my life might very well be a guy anyway, so maybe I can spare them the shock. ;) I'm slowly learning that the greatest gift I can give myself is time and self-understanding. Seems to be working wonders.

  Pretty horrible here. Guess we're just going to have a "marriage of convenience". My H told me he doesn't love me and doesn't like being married. He's doing whatever he wants whenever he wants. Just trying to keep going day to day. Thanks for caring.

  Hi, I am doing better but have joined another Alanon group as well as returning to regular meetings.It is good because Dave and I are still doing the codependent dance,lol! You'd think we could get past this but learned behaviors can be unlearned and I think this will help immensely if I can learn to let go of the need to "fix" Dave. He's a big boy and my HP loves him too.... Take care and love & hugs to you!
