Almost 20 months ago I joined and then only weeks later abandoned this group. At that particular moment in time I was too numb with pain to participate, I merely read the stories of others gratefully escaping the nightmare that was raging in my own head....Agggghh, If only! My nightmare was tangible. My husband, lover, friend - so I thought was in the midst on an Internet affair. She was in America. He in England. He told me he was going to America but he promised not to see her...he lied. I told him if he did he would destroy us...he went anyway. I cried. I proceeded to cry a river. Build a bridge and I now I'm getting over it. We are still together and I really do believe relationships are like broken glass....sometimes you hurt yourself more by trying to pick up the shattered pieces. I don't have all the answers but I am stronger now than I ever was.
