Went to the opthamologist yesterday. Really bumbed in finding out this last fall has affected my vision significantly. My peripheral vision is shot, & my lekt eye vison is 2x worse than it has ever been. The Docs told me that this last fall was it. I probably would not survive another, & if I did, well it would be what I would guess to be my (& maybe every TBI's) worse nightmare. Veggie time.
There have been so many reprecussions from this last fall, I think it has awakened me in a way I never expected. Sobered me, if you will. I have to remind myself daily that I have TBI-IT does NOT have me. AMEN!

I keep saying I am going to put a helmet on and not take it off. Before we got rid of our van, I kept hitting my head on the interior. I started putting on a bike helmet every time I got in it until my husband took the hint and got rid of the van.
Any time I even just barely bump my head I get scared.
I sure hope your vision gets better, and at least no worse.
