My husband and I are very discouraged, but we keep praying that it (getting preg.) will happen. I haven't really been …
Well, I had my 2nd beta today and I was a bit concerned when the nurse asked why I was in so soon for another beta. Then she pulled my chart and stated that it was because they had increased my progesterone. I still think it is a strange either way; from what I see on DS, they should be checking my beta at least a few times to ensure that it is increasing properly and even if it was odd for my RE to pull me in (early per their standards), HELLO, why would you say this to me? She has got to know that everyone that walk in and out of their doors is on pins and needles until they have that beautiful child in their arms. I'm sure it's just me, being overly sensitive yet AGAIN! So now I wait again, until late afternoon hoping and praying that the numbers increase as they should. I just really wish they would get their lab results earlier! It is awful to have to wait this long. I will just try to keep a positive attitude and get some work done. Okay my fellow DS Ladies, off to a great start of the week, and my thoughts/prayers are with everyone!!!

I know I just wrote an entry but I feel absolutely terrible. I am 24 years old and I am praying all the time. Not …
I am feeling a little better today. I hope to feel even better as the day goes on. I have been praying all morning …
I wish you much luck today! I hope your levels are increasing normally.....

When I had my first beta, my level was not too bad, but my progestrone was really low. My RE upped the dosage and I had to go in 2 days later. He used the word "cautiously optimistic." I was freaking out. I know if the progrestrone level is low, its not good. So for 2 days, I was on pins and needles too until I had my second beta. That level doubled and the progestrone went up to where it needed to be so it all worked out (im still on 2 dosage/day of progestrone). Try not to freak out just yet. I know its easier said then done, but I'm sure it will all work out. Also, just remember, that every RE is different. When I was getting tested for my beta, I was going in every other day until it hit 1000 and I had my ultrasound. The nurse should know to keep her mouth shut because like you said, we are all on pins and needles when we walk into that office. Keep us posted and I am sure its going to be just fine and your levels are going to increase as they should.

I hope everything is perfect with your second beta. I thought it was standard to have you come in 2-3 days after your first one for a second. I think it was pretty stupid of her to say that to you; because of all things you don't need to worry right now. Good luck!

Hey hun....I think its pretty common to go in for your BETA frequently at first...I had my first test on Saturday, went again today, and now I go one last time on Wed. They want to make sure my number is rising I guess....after Wed I won't go back till my ultra sound I don't think. I do think every RE is different so that may be a factor too.....either way good luck, were hoping for GOOD rising numbers:)
