Well, I am now the proud owner of my first brand new lap top computer. She is a Sony, she's my favorite shade of red and I believe she may even have web cam capabilities, if I only knew a little more about computers to use it....or any other special features she may have. But whatever else, I am on line again on my own computer and I am very happy. She cost a little more than I wanted to spend, but I may have this little devil for some years, so I'm glad I got the one I wanted instead of settling for less. And that is a statement that this woman never thought she would make..."Not settling for less." Need to start using that frame of mind in the rest of my life! It is a happy day for me!

Congratulations hon! Now all we got to do is get your avatar up and running.Here goes.
First on your "home page"(not the home page on Daily Strength) type in -----images and hit search.the blank can be filled with whatever image you wish.peaceful,colorful,happy,sad.etc....then when you click on the images it will take you to the "images"there when you see an image you like right click with your mouse "save picture as" and save it to a folder in your documents.
when you finsih then go to your profile page on DS and click "update picture" there it will take you to a page where you will see ---------browse. click the browse button and then pick the folder you saved your image on click that then click upload picture.
once downlaoded you can size your pic if you want.then presto chango your avatar is up and running.

here are some links for free avatars. click on the links then right click to download and save avatar.
you have a lap top so i am guessing you dont have a mouse and i dont know how you can access saving images and avatars,someone hopefully with more knowledge can help you if you dont know.
