No meds for me for a little while, new pdoc was a total prick, so I fired him. One of the things that he said to me "What makes you think I will give you any meds?" Thats his f--king job, I have a therapist to talk to. The pdoc had to ask 200 f--king questions, like he was trying to rediagnose me, and the problem at hand...was no problem at all...and yes I did tell him I cut last night. I had a real "Prozac Nation" moment.

I am glad to hear you were honest about the cutting!!!! Have you been keeping your safety plan promise? Sorry to hear he was such a jerk!!!!! I hope they find you a more suitable one, I recently fired my therapist, so I know the feeling. There are good docs out there, just gotta find one. I am worried though, about you having to go without meds....I really think you need them!!!! take care of yourself David. The Lord loves you and so do I.

I am glad you were honest with your Dr! I haven't been on any meds for a little over two years! It is hard to go through this life when no one understands you! And when you have disoders that disable you, it's even harder to go through te things that people all over go through that don't have these disoders! The only thing that I find that helps me is my relationship with Jesus! He has be the one who has never left me or let me down! He can love me like no one else can! And He is familiar with all my pain and every thing about me! He loves us soooo much that He bottles up our tears! He has the hairs on our heads numbered! He knows when we lie down and when we rise! Just know that no matter what you are going through or what ever you will go through, that Jesus loves you and He always wants the very best for you! Our battle with people who have disoders like us is in the mind! Every human being has this battle in their minds, (but people that have disoders have even more of a battle)! Also keep in mind that this battle does not belong to us, but to the Lord! The battle is His!

I have had many drs through this illness, and I think you are right, they are there to help you and you have the right to fire the ones that are not commited to that. Until YOU feel confortable to move from med to med or off meds, the additional stress they are causing you is not what I would consider good treatment.
Goog job on putting yourself first. You will find a dr to help. I have lost the account of the stupid things I have heard from some I came across.
THEY SHOULD BE THERE FOR YOU, NOT AGAINST YOU, providing what you need and you know your body best, especially with meds you already had. High five, pull the plug on this one, don't look back and believe you will come across a good one. Because I know you will, just like I did.
If a med was prescribed before to you, what I would do is take any proof of it (bottle, old prescription) and go to the walk in and explain the situation, ask for the prescrition you need and explain you are working on replacing the family dr.
