I am a christian and love the Lord with all my heart and soul. God is number one in my life. I am married and have the most amazing husband. I have 2 children from my first marriage.(he passed away 6 1/2 years ago from complications of diabetes.) So becoming a type 2 diabetic was such a shock for me. Never did I think I would be strictened with the same disease. I also have 2 step children. Having a step family is very challenging and rewarding. Depending on the day.

Hi Vickie. Saw you on the Diabetes board. You can also get probiotics in suppliment form. It is really good in keeping your digestive tract clean and healthy. Especially after you take antibiotics. They are "good" bacteria that we all need in our gut. If you eat yogurt, several forms are in that. Hope to see you post more. :)

Hi There!!! How are things going with you these days?? Are you having the crazy weather there that we are having here?? Warm one day, cold the next. This is so strange. We had snow Jan. 20-first time for here in over 20 years!!!! It was beautiful and my grandson had so much fun playing outside. Hugs to you, Gabby

Treatments
- Metformin Working / Worked
- Blood sugar was 258 when first diagnosed. Now its between 102-130
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- I walk 30 minutes every day.
Open Step Families
I have been married for about 5 years. My husband was married once before and has 2 children, now ages 23 and 16. I was married once before but after 14 years of marriage ended up a widow. I'm very happy with my marriage. He's a God sent. We get along very well. The problem I have is HIS children will not accept me. His son, the 16 year old, will talk to me from time to time but his 23 year old daughter won't have anything to do with me. In the beginning she did. She lives with us.
