I had my first kidney stone on Valentine's Day 2005. Since that date I have had 9 more stones, mostly on significant holidays. I missed my wedding rehersal and dinner because I was in the ER with kidney stones. On my honeymoon I missed one full day of adventure due to another stone. I have been to ER rooms in New York, Hawaii, and Nevada..and of course my local hospital here in California. Kidney stones are keeping me from truly enjoying my life because I am always afraid that I will have another attack.
