I saw my Dr. today and she is totally trying to get me a spinal and cine MRI! She asked me if I would be willing to travel to Santa Rosa or Redding because we don't have one locally and I was like hell yeah! I'll try to recruit a friend to be a driver if I can, but I'm just so happy she's listening to me and making sure I get the care I need.
That, and her suggestion of going back on the St. Johns wort is helping. I'm totally feeling more functional, and I've been very productive this week. It's taking me forever because I can only work a little bit at a time, but I've refinished two end tables and got an old (but new to me!) entertainment unit that's halfway there as well. I haven't done anything this ambitious in a while, but it's totally turning out worth it. Once I finish the coffee table too I'm going to have a beautiful set of matching ADULT furniture!

The themes this week are "Let see how many innapropriate things I can accidently add to my coffee" the best so far being a paint brush (in my defense the paint I was using was about the same color as the coffee), and today, ketchup! Screw putting that on the eggs, that's just boring.
The second theme is "How many things can I knock over in a day". So many I lost count!

You wrote that you had mono for years and now your doctor found out that you have arnold chiari malformation 1, I have something similar to that except that I'm still getting neurologists that still insists that I am dealing with the after affects of mono. I had a full spine MRI Dec 4th and the Neurosurgeon said he was concerned about chiari malformation. However, I went back to my neurologists to share the news and tell her what he found and she doesn't see it. She told me that It's not enough to worry about, but I feel like hell. I have been healthy all my life until I got mono in June 2008, up til the diagnosis of possible chiari malformation I had mostly neurologists telling me i just need to get back to normal. How do I do that when I can't physically. Curious about your symptoms that led to a diagnosis of chiari malformation.
