- Anti-Inflammatory Diet Working / Worked
- Have rid myself of some pain. I think this diet really helps. I still have pain, but not as much. Side effects: loss of weight which is good for people with arthritis. You just have to make sure you don't lose too much weight. It's difficult to maintain a certain amount of calories needed per day on this diet.

Have mild case. Just diagnosed early 2008. Had bleeding ulcers in decending colon. Having some other problems from it.
Treatments
- Asacol Working / Worked
- Went off of it becuase it was causing stomach aches and was irritating. I also have gerd/acid reflux so I'm sensitive to medications. Also, my bun & bun/creatine went up 10-13pts. When I went off of Asacol, my levels went back down.

Open Hyperparathyroidism
Have high serum calcium and high PTH. Had scan of thyroid which was negative. Low Vit.D (8.5)Now taking 50,000 IU once a week and my D is comming up but it's also raising my serum calcium. Not getting any answers from docs. Meanwhile, I'm losing more bone.
