Happily married mother of two daughters (ages 7 and 8), have dealt with migraine with and without aura since 1982, pain became chronic in 2002. Have had numerous treatments to help migraine but finally found out in January 2008 that I have psuedotumor cerebri and could finally be treated for the correct pain. Had a brain shunt placed in July 2008 to reduce the pressure in my head. That was followed by serveral serious complications including a pulmonary embolism and brain bleeds. I have minor amnesia from the brain bleeds and subsequent clots/pressure.
