I hope you've had a good weekend and that the week turns out to be a peacful problem-free one. Take care.
Oh Sweetie! I am soo sorry that you have been so sick. Do you drink cranberry or cherry juice?? They are both helpful for the kidneys, if you continue to have symptoms please go to your Dr for a urine test because you may have something brewing that needs an antibiotic. I had one just a month ago, I had the same bad pain on one side, and we pushed the cran, and still had the urine test (this is when we were on our anniversary weekend) when I got back. It said "negative" but because of my history, they cultured it out and it WAS an infection,....very dangerous to those of us who have kidney problems! Soo, please take care, okay?? I have been very ill for the last couple of weeks with the flu and now a bad cold. I also had sciatica and a knee prob because my dog just nailed the side of my leg--sheesh! Now, I hate to say it, but I am coughing soo much that I think I may have "popped" a rib. Thank God I see my Chiro tomorrow for the sciatica--I think I have a surprise for him!
I do know what you mean about getting older,...I always say it "ain't for wimps"! ha! I keep a good perspective because I have got to push myself with all my medical issues,---I always say that "I am going to go and do as much as I can, for as long as I can" Truly, I want to live my life as to make my Jamie proud of his Mama.
I don't know how you manage, Hon, with your daughter's seizures, besides! Isn't there anything more they can do for her medically? Since we are both a hurtin'--I send you "gentle" hugs tonight. God Bless you! Love, Judy
Thanks for the moment of peace and great complement. It's really got my week off to a good start.
Chocolate for you, sweet friend! No, I doubt it was from the flu shot,---there is so much going around here and my hubby works for the school district. I have a low immune system, and get everything, prob due to the pain I have and not sleeping well, etc. It lasted almost a week. I also have a knee and sciatica in that leg that are driving me crazy,...have to see my Chiro again today,...God bless him!--Is there nothing to be done for your daughter's seizures, Hon?? I feel so sorry for her (and YOU) to have to be going through that so much! Glad to hear you have been to the doc. TAlk about colonoscopies,...I have only had about 6 of them--I have IBD and strictures of the distal ileum, so they have to keep a watch on those. I agree, the prep is awful, but it is better to be safe than sorry, don't you think? I also have to have a gastric scoping in the spring. I see a specialist at the UW hosp--he is the best of the best. I have Barrett's in my lower esophagus, and they consider that to be a pre-cancerous condition, sooooo, unpleasant or not,...we do have to follow up on that. Sometimes it just sucks being an adult, doesn't it??--Makes you wonder where all the fun went??!! I hope you do go through with your testing, it will put you at ease, and besides, I don't want anything to happen to you! God Bless you, Love & hugs, Judy
Just to say I hope you're having a good week.
My daughter has seizures and no medicines are controlling them. She has 3 types and I would like input and any suggestions so she can have a better life.
