Hi Everyone,

I've been out for a while trying to get things cleared up at work for my exit.  I'm finally done and my last day was the 16th. Friday I laid around most of the day -- just plain tired and mentally drained.  I also had a lot of blood work done and got most of the results back - it looks like the thyroid is not doing to well or the pituitary tumour isn't stimulating they thyroid, so that's probably where the tiredness is coming from. I'm putting on weight all of a sudden too.   I guess it's back to the doctor next week to find out.  Had another IGHF-1 test - still am waiting on the results.  I'm very nervous about it because I have been swelling and sweating again, headaches and not sleeping at night.

I also wanted to share something I stumbled across on the web - it's an acromegaly blog.  I don't have time to do much looking at it right now because we have a house full of company, but here is the site.  Let me know what you think.  When our guests are gone, I'm going to have a good look at it.  It's apparently sponsored by Ipsen - the makers of somatuline, but it looks interesting.  They are supposed to have a "webinar" on line here pretty soon too with a question and answer session.  You have to register for it.
