About Me
After a lifetime of back problems, I finally had surgery 3 years ago. The NS used an artificial disc, which at the time was new to this country. The artificial disc popped out 3 days later. When it did it took part of the discs above and below it. I'm now living with constant pain. Am now in the process of having more testing done to see what is going on. With my luck, it will be more discs disintegrated to the point I need surgery again. Three years ago we took in 2 foster kids. The process has been too long and involved to mention here. We are hoping we can petition the court in the spring and adopt. Discovered I had Graves Disease last winter. The doctor just threw that out as he was walking out of the room. I was on ATDs but have now leveled off. Blood tests show me level, but I have all the symptoms of hyPO. I am so sick of all of this!

Thank you very much for the reply on my journal entry...i think he goes into sensory overload as well but i don't know how to deal with that..in the heat of the moment i'm not thinking of the mental health issues he suffer's with! I'm taking him to the doctor today and hopefully the doctor will give me a referral to take him to see a psychologist cause he has to be taught some coping mechanisms

I was losing weight and my heart was pounding several times during the day. My GP did bloodwork and I had extremely elevated thyroid. Saw an endo. who put me on tapizole. Numbers came down, dosage has been decreased to nothing and I have gained 50 lbs. in the last 3 months.
