Close Migraine Headaches
have hormonal migraine flare ups monthly. As of yesterday had to have injection b/c headache would not go away after 72hrs. and countless uses of Imitrex nasal spray.
Treatments
- Aspirin Working / Worked
- works at times if taken in a large enough dose in combination w/caffeine
- Caffeine Somewhat Helpful
- soft drinks only NO Coffee, yuck
- Excedrin Working / Worked
- same as asprin, if taken early enough it can be helpful, esp. if using ice pack on head
- Imitrex Working / Worked
- if taken early enough the nasal spray usually helps, if not then I must resort to the injectible form which has the undesirable effects of heart racing, etc.

- helps if I stick w/it in 500mg daily at least

- have tried in past absolutely does not help mine or my period cramps either

- Yes! Big time if you can find it it is hard to find esp. in the alcohol tincture it has components of valium and xanax wout ANY of the addictive potential. You have to be careful using it and other Natural Treatments or therapies. Although it is natural in large doeses it can do more harm than good so research the treatment in detail before going in blind
