Get Well Soon!
I've been taking an inexpensive brand of fish oil for a little over two months now. For the first time in over two years I feel fantastic and have regained my vitality. Not only does my doctor recommend fish oil for BP ,anxiety and depression, but he takes it himself for cardiovascular health. What is there to lose?

I suffer from GAD. Particularly with eating/swallowing and shortness of breath.
Treatments
- Hypnotherapy Not Working
- I felt I never really relaxed and let myself go with it.
- Positive Thinking Somewhat Helpful
- It's works for a time but I feel it only papers over the cracks temporarily.
- Valium Not Working
- I was prescribed Lorazepam when I was 17. it worked at first then it didn't. My Doctors increased it several times without seeing me. I eventually experienced full scale anxiety when they immediately switched it over to Diazepam. I very slowly reduced the tablets by one half every couple of weeks with the help of my brother and sister in law.
Close Phobia
I have had a fear of swallowing for many years now. Various times of the day I can hardly even swallow my own saliva, it's horrible! I feel this is due to either a bad experience with choking or difficulty communicating with people & my parents as a child.
Treatments
- Hypnotherapy Not Working
- I could see how it could work for some people but it didn't work for me.
- Ativan Not Working
- It worked at first and gradually I got bad again my Dr increased the dosage it worked again and then after a while I got bad again he increased it again and the same thing happened until I was on a high dosage. I had a terrible time getting off it very slowly i.e. half a tablet reduction a week.
Open Rheumatoid Arthritis
I started to get RA when I was 29 and my daughter was a baby. I am 44 now. I have tried various medications, Methotrexate being the only one to work for a while I am now injecting Enbrel twice a week and hopefully waiting for some good results

- I take this with Methotrexate. I forget it for days sometimes but don't notice any difference.

- Worked for a few years but not so well now
- Voltaren Working / Worked
- does help with the pain a little bit. I know when I've forgotten to take it the next morning.
