trying to work out my meds.... I have been saying this for years. I guess it takes time. Meds have side effects.
I want to go off of trileptal - I am getting sores on my body. They just show up, yuck, not good. Went off nortriptaline because I had too much hair loss and was gaining too much weight. I also want to go off of Cymbalta and to try something else. I have been on it for 9 years. I seem to be on too many drugs so why don't I just try another tactic. My nuero says he doesn't want to change too much at once and I understand but I just want to fix my brain and I am getting impatient. Hair loss, weight gain and sores are too much. I need to move on.
I think I want to try neurontin again. It made me so nutty and loopy when I first tried it but I think I want to try it again. It is supposed to be a good mood stabilizer? So maybe it might help me with my husband? LOL... I had headaches with Lyrica and Lyrica is supposed to cause weight gain and I don't want that anymore. Lyica is made with mostly nuerontin so perhaps I will go for just the neurontin for now since I need to stay with a nerve med because of the live wire bolts in my head at the moment.
I am on Morphine which is great for my constant pain but I am hearing that the FDA wants to pull it off the market??? This would really chap my hide and make not much sense since it is a viable source of pain relief. And now they also want to remove tylenol because it kills 400 people a year? That is horrible that it kills people but there are other things that kill people that they don't remove! Tylenol seems like a big helper to remove? What's up with the FDA. Millions of babies are killed by abortion and where is the FDA? That is dangerous? Ah What????
Oh I am mad, don't take my pain pills away now that I have relief!

I hope that they can get your meds adjusted for you so that they help you instead of causing you more trouble. I am so sorry that you are having to go through what you are going through. I agree with you about the Morphine, and tylenol. Dont take them away. The FDA just dont seem to understand. My cousin is having bad headaches all the time and so dr's are trying to find out whats causing them so that they can help her with it, and my youngest brother who is down visiting has headaches it seems every day. He had cancer when he was 5 so im hoping that he will go back to the dr to make sure its not coming back after all these years. I just hope that things will get better so that you can feel better. I also agree what you said about the abortion. You are a huge insperation to me. Good Luck and im always going to be right here for you!

I can understand that Neurontin would make you "nutty and loopy" when you first tried it, I went thru that. If you can just get past that initial phase, it helps. I am supposed to increase my dosage by one capsule a week for the next several weeks. It will be one big fog. I'm not too sure how it will help you with your husband unless you want to lose your husband in the fog, lol!
If the FDA takes Morphine off the Market, then I think we need to petition to have them join the meetings of the EPA. You have heard that the EPA wants to tax the methane that cows release into the air, right? Well, I figure that the FDA will have to approved the corks that the farmers will shove up the cows butts, so that they don't contain any chemicals that might affect the milk the cows produce.
And maybe the FDA people and the EPA people need to use those corks too!
