8 months after tysabri Mood
Thursday, July 16, 2009

I was nervous about going to my last neurologist appt. yesterday. They finally made me do my regular mri check up last week. I had to see my neuro for the results and regular exam. After 8 months on Tysabri :

NO new lesions No active lesions at this time AND..... A reduced size in some of the lesions that I have had.

I couldn't have been more excited. I didn't expect a reduced size in anything for sure. I am still very excited. He told me just to stay out of this summer Texas heat , I'm pretty sure that is what set off the last flare up, getting to hot !

I wish that I had started tysabri March 15th, 2006 !!!

It's been over 100 degrees for several days now. I think I might be melting just going to my car ! One day was 106

What wonderful news! The heat is terrible here as well. I can feel myself struggling just walking to the parking lot to get in my car after work each day. I crank up the air conditioning and once I cool down I'm okay again. Take care and let's hope the good news continues.

Good News! So happy for you. It's hot here too. I like to sit outside in the mornings drinking my coffee. Need to get at that yard work.....but oh well! :o)

    Keep it up my friend.

    Hugs and cheers,
    Sharon
